The Chiltern Camerata continues the 2025-6 season with a performance of J.S. Bach’s monumental and deeply moving St. Matthew Passion, with singers from the Camerata Consort and All Saints’ Marlow Junior Choir. The work is a gripping, musical drama depicting Jesus Christ’s final days, performed by a choir, double orchestra, and soloists. Written in a highly operatic style, concert-goers can look forward to a powerful, immersive musical experience. It is possible to just sit back and enjoy some marvellous live music which, though written three hundred years ago, continues to tug at listeners’ heart-strings

Saturday 21 March The Witchert Chorale present Sonority with music by Imogen Holst, Mozart and Salieri. St Mary’s Church, Long Crendon at 7.30. With our friends in Long Crendon, raising money for two great charities, the Friends of St Mary’s, supporting the church in Long Crendon, and the Florence Nightingale Hospice. Saturday 11 April Spring concert by the RAF Halton Voluntary Band at St Mary’s Church, Thame, presenting a selection of music to welcome the coming warmer days, original and arranged music for all tastes. Free Admission, with a retiring collection in aid of the Thame Royal British Legion Branch.
Wednesday 29 July Spooky Men’s Chorale are appearing in Oxford as part of their 25 Anniversary Tour. Venue still to be confirmed but interest can now be registered at https://linktr.ee/spookox26 with tickets likely to be around £30.
Saturday 3 October Date for diaries. The Wormsley estate near Stokenchurch have built a wonderful studio complex at which a well known TV show have been filming. The Dung Beatles band, have been booked to play our ‘Beatles Years and Beyond’ show there.
