Saturday 6 June Stokenchurch Summer Fete on the Common. Features community singing with assistance from the Village scratch choir. Karaoke songs for all. Free entry. (Not a choir event but if you felt like a trip to the Stokenchurch fete and a bit of singing this is for you.)
Sunday 7 June – Green Fayre at Chinnor Village Hall. Singing from 11.45 to 12.30 in the front car park, or inside if the weather is bad, in conjunction with Chinnor Open Gardens and as part of Chinnor & Thame Friends of the Earth’s Green Living Fayre. A few favourite songs, led by Ruth.
Sunday 28 June Towersey Fete in the afternoon; our programme is under preparation and will include several songs on the performance list for the Thame u3a Anniversary appearance.
Wednesday 1 July Choir session, (much like the Forget Me Knot Club) at Thame Friendship Club, 1.15pm is the preferred time and please add your name on the sign up sheet.
Saturday 17 October Chiltern Big Sing will take place this year in a new venue (due to renovations at Mill Lane School). It will comprise the same organiser, same fabulous voice leaders, same tried and tested format, same standard of cakes and hopefully the same volunteers. This year the Big Sing moves to the top of the Chilterns and takes over the Stokenchurch Primary School for the day. More details will follow soon.
